lebron james contract extension

Lebron James keeping Los Angeles Lakers hanging with his contact extension

With just one year remaining on his contract, Lebron James is yet to extend his contract with Southern California’ Los Angeles Lakers.

Following ugly 49-loss season, Questions has risen weather Lebron James will show his commitment towards Lakers or not.

His current two year contract was of $85.66 million with projected price for two year contract extension is $97.1 million.

Free agency will be opening up before James’ camp at Klutch Sports on June 30. It will be better for the team management if they get commitment from Lebron James.

Also, there is some major drama attached to Leborn James’ position in the team. Former Coach Phil Jackson is reportedly wanting to trade Leborn James against the will of owner Jeannie Buss.

“I’ve heard that Phil would like LeBron traded. I’ve just heard that, but I’ve got nothing to back that up. No on-the-record stuff to back that up. I do know that Phil would like to keep Westbrook and try to make that work with him.”
