After winning the 2022 NBA Championship, Klay Thompson wasted no time in showing the Grizzlies’ Jaren Jackson Jr. his place.
While speaking to the media after their final game, Clay Thompson said, “Strength in numbers is alive and well. There was this one player on the Grizzlies who tweeted ‘Strength in numbers’ after they beat us in the regular season, and it pissed me off so much. I can’t wait to retweet that thing. Freakin’ bum. I had to watch that. I’m like, ‘This freakin’ clown.’ “
Klay Thompson reminded the media that he has the brain of an elephant. He does not forget things easily. It was 81 days ago when Jaren Jackson Jr. tried to make fun of the Warriors’ old tagline.
“Twitter fingers, can you believe it? I got a memory like an elephant. I don’t forget. And there were a lot of people kicking us when we were down.”
